While it is not necessary to memorise the rules of Rollerhoc it is a good idea to read them so that you have some basic understanding of player's limitations while on the rink. The rules are designed for your safety.
New Rollerhoc dates announced to play at Bo'ness Recreational Centre.
► Previous hockey experience not necessary. ► No need to buy hockey equipment. The second Rollerhoc meeting at Bo'ness Leisure Centre attracted new players some having never played hockey before. You soon find out how easy the game is when you play within your team at your own ability level. Our only concern is that you can skate a bit and stop a bit. That's all you need to be capable of to play the game. We never turn anyone away. Must wear pads and a helmet for your own protection. The rules of Rollerhoc are designed to make the game as safe as possible.
This will be the second Rollerhoc meeting at a new venue, Bo'ness Recreation Centre in the big games hall which is an ideal size for playing Rollerhoc. Skaters proved at the first meeting they could adapt to rules that prevent the game becoming roller hockey. The game is targeted at recreational skaters who want to improve their fitness and skate skills at the same time. This all adds up to a bit fun on wheels.
